Synopsis
In a future where nations each have their own superhero, Japan's representative is... a teenage girl who turns crimson at the thought of being looked at. Shy can fly, she can fight, she has the power to stand between her country and disaster—and she is absolutely, genuinely, not okay with any of it socially. SHY is a superhero manga that takes its central contradiction completely seriously: a girl with world-shaking power and crippling social anxiety, who has to find a way to be both and somehow let neither cancel out the other. Emotionally intelligent, charming, and quietly inspiring in a way that sneaks up on you.
