Synopsis

Kei and Masaru die on Tokyo subway tracks saving a drunk man, then immediately wake up in a Tokyo apartment alongside strangers, a mysterious black sphere called Gantz, and the sudden understanding that they've been recruited — without consent — into lethal alien-hunting missions. Gantz (Hiroya Oku) is 383 chapters of uncompromising sci-fi action that does not flinch: graphic violence, explicit content, morally ambiguous protagonists, and an escalating alien threat that shifts from episodic hunts to existential civilizational stakes.
