Kartein is a world-renowned Awakener and arguably the greatest healer in the world of Eleceed. Initially presenting himself as aloof, arrogant, and only motivated by compensation he deems worthy of his peerless abilities, he's known throughout the Awakened world as a man you don't ever cross because you might need him to save your life one day. He inevitably becomes entangled with Kayden and Jiwoo, moving into their home and eventually taking on a cat form similar to Kayden's (albeit a much fluffier, more majestic one). His character perfectly balances immense healing and combat power with recurring tsundere comedy.
